Indonesia Will Go Bankrupt Because Of Corruption (ASIA Future Shock)

It’s shocking news, or not?

This was analyzed by Michael Backman in his book ASIA Future Shock.

Here is a review by http://www.palgrave-usa.com/

The transformation of China, India and much of the rest of Asia is seismic. Never has the region changed so much in such a short time. But change means opportunity and risk – big risk. Do you know what to expect? Is your business prepared? Are you ready?

The numbers are staggering:

Within ten years, funds under management in China will grow to at least US$1.5 trillion, 100 million mainland Chinese tourists will pour out of China annually, Singapore will be a major haven for hidden offshore funds, Thai hospitals will be major providers of healthcare in Asia, the Middle East and to under-insured Americans, and shortages of management talent in India and China will be even more acute.

Within 20 years, a billion more people will live in Asia’s cities than do already, China will be a major sophisticated weapons exporter, Malaysia will have almost run out of oil, and divorce and family breakdown will mean that the size of the average Asian household will be substantially smaller.

Within 25 years, Japan’s population will have shrunk by 20 million, there will be 250 million more men than women in India and China, half the world’s nuclear reactors will be in Asia, the world’s biggest community of English speakers will be in China, and Asia-wide water shortages will see big hikes in food prices. Asia Future Shock is designed for corporate strategists and scenario builders, to alert them to these and other major shifts and to identify the opportunities and risks.

Th3 ThirD WinnEr

Hi,,, miss u guys! I just back from Yogyakarta and I'm really happy now. Our presentation about "How to increase the Quality of nationalism using the media of Film" got the third position. The first winner was from IPB, and the runner up was from ISI.

There are so many experience I've got form the competition. I also have some photos to share. I will give them in the next post. Oh, I'm really happy!!!! :)

This is a little summary of our scientific writing:

RINGKASAN

Yogyakarta, I'm coming ^_^

I never imagine that this fortune comes to me. About three days ago, my friend told me that our scientific writing was accepted by the national competition commitee. And now we are preparing our presentation media. Next week we are going to Yogyakarta in Central Java. We'll leave on Monday and stay there for three days.

Oh my God, I'm really happy n nervous now.

I'm so happy because first, this is the first scientific writing that I've ever made. Second, I always wanna go to Yogyakarta after my classmates canceled our plan to go there last two months. Well, finally I get my late vacation.

I will go with my two partners. They are Aan Frisca DP, my president at i-know.co.cc, and Sueb the“Poltergeist”.

However, I also feel nervous because it's the first time I present scientific writing in front of national people.

Anyway, I'm really glad to be there and give my best. Hope we success ^_^

Things To Do After Broken Heart

Maybe you wonder why you fell so sad after broken heart. It's really hard to get rid of the problem. You go to your room and lock the door. Keep silence and start thingking about the terrible situation.

Many questions come up into your head. Why he/she left me? Why he/she couldn't be alittle more patient? Why I did this or that? Why, why, WHY.....?

Well, those are very common reactions after broken heart. Many people feel them. However, is it a good choice to let yourself feel the sadness? Is it a good desicion to let your life time pass by? Is it a good desicion to let your "X" feel satisfy after broken heart?

No, No, Never!

These are things to get rid of your broken heart feeling:

  1. Collect all of your X's photos. Stick them on a dartboard. Turn on your favorite Rock or Punk music and start playing X-dart ^_^
  2. List your X's minus and your plus. You see? He/She's not that worthy.
  3. Go to a quite place. Where no people can hear your voice. For instance, mountain or beach. Scream loudly and release yourbad feeling. Feel free ^_^
  4. Make yourself busy. You can do anything that you've never done before, such as visiting orphanage, making donations for victims of disasters or just gardening. Forget your previous bad experience.
  5. Go green and love pets. Look for a green place where you can see trees and flowers everywhere. Walk your dog or bring your other pets and let them help you to see that "Our world is Wonderful"

And now, it's time to try them. Hope u success ^_^

Please Stop The Polemic, Guys...

INDONESIA VS MALAYSIA

Back to three or four years ago, when Indonesia n Malaysia started to claim Sipadan and Ligitan island as theirs. Nomatter which country finally "won" the claim, it brought many other problems between Indonesia and Malaysia. In about last year, Malaysia claimed Reog and Batik as theirs. Indonesia, who felt that both of those are theirs, became angry. Again, nomatter who actually had the right to own them, it lead many polemics through very various kinds of media.

One of them is our beloved virtual world. Many bloggers from Indonesia and Malaysia create blogs (and also website) which contain bad words mocking each other. I don't want to mention them, though, because I'm affraid it will create a worse condition.
Well, actually, I think we should not let this "bad" polemic continue. I have some blogfriends from Malaysia and they are really kind and friendly. I am sure that Malaysian bloggers also do not want to keep this "virtual war".

This article written not for bad purpose, Guys. I really appreciate Malaysian, Indonesian, and other countries bloggers who are keeping their blogs peaceful. Let's remember that we are the people who care aboout living in peace and harmony :-D

Thanks for the readers and the commentators. Keep blogging peacefully. Luv u Guys :-)

Increasing Standard Of national EXAm

Is it the right choice?

Indonesia now are still facing many problems, such as economy, health, and also education. These problems are full of urgency to solve.

People in Indonesia see that the quality of Education in this country is still low. The Government believes that one of the causes of this problem is the low minimum standard of passing grade for any schools. Compare to the other countries, Indonesia still has the lowest passing grade. The Gov think that this kind of situation will lead the students to the eternal laziness ( because they don’t feel forced)

However, increasing the standard of national exam brings a new problem. Many people think that it’s a bad action and will bring a bad atmosphere toward the education itself. The students will only think about how to get a good mark and forget about their own purpose to go to school: get lessons.

They will do everything to get good mark no matter they deserve to get it or not. Many students become desperate and do cheating to pass their school. They do very very various cheating through SMS, and many other ways. And as my personal comment, this condition could lead them to become the next Indonesian corruptors.

This is one of the current issues in Indonesia. I really need your comment, for Indonesia.

You can give comments in Bahasa Indonesia or English.

One more question: "Does your country have a national exam?"

INDONESIA?

If I ask you this very simple question, “ What do you think about Indonesia?”, what would be the first word in your mind?

Probably people would say these words: friendly, Bali, developing country, beautiful scenery, and many others. Or even some of you would think about this: corruption, bomb, Tsunami, and many other bad view about Indonesia.

Well, this time, I really need your comment to the above question. This site will be the answer of your questions. I’m sure that you, wherever you are, care of other countries. It would be a pleasure for me to be your first site to visit if you need some information or clarification about Indonesia.

Issues can be right or wrong. However, this site will be the bridge between Indonesian’s view and your argument toward a current issue. Please participate actively and get everything about Indonesia.

I’m so proud to be here, thanks for your kindness to read this :-D
